What the build price does not include.

We’d rather be clear up front than surprise you later. The build fee covers us designing and building your site. A few things sit outside that — and most of them you pay directly to the source, so you stay in control.

Your domain name

Your web address (like yourcompany.com). You buy and own it. Usually $10–$20/year. Already have one? We connect it — no extra charge. (See below.)

Your monthly Shopify plan

The subscription that keeps your site live, paid directly to Shopify. Around $39/month (about $29/month billed yearly). New stores often get an intro rate for the first few months.

Content & photos

You provide your text and images — nobody knows your business like you do. We’ll send a simple checklist so it’s easy.

Paid apps & premium add-ons

Only if you want features beyond the build (some booking or review apps have their own small monthly fee). We’ll always tell you before adding one.

Changes after your revisions

Each build includes set revision rounds. Once those are used, further edits are handled separately — or we can set you up to make easy changes yourself.

Logo design & ongoing marketing

Need a logo? That’s a separate service we offer. Ongoing ads and marketing aren’t part of the build, but we’re happy to help.

“Domain” just means your address on the internet. Here’s exactly how you get one and who owns it — no tech degree required.

  • 2You buy it — and you own itEasiest route: buy it right inside Shopify (it connects automatically). Or use a registrar like GoDaddy or Namecheap. Either way it’s usually $10–$20 a year.
  • 3Already have one? We connect itIf you already own your domain, we point it at your new site for you. That’s included in the build — no extra charge.
  • 4It renews once a yearThe registrar bills you annually to keep it. Because it’s in your account, you control it — nobody can hold your address hostage.
  • 5We walk you through itBuying or connecting a domain takes about ten minutes. We’ll do it with you, step by step, so it’s done right the first time.
Why this matters: Your domain and your site stay in your name and your accounts — not ours. You’re never locked in, and you’re never dependent on us to keep your business online. That’s the way it should be.

Do I need to be technical?
Not at all. That’s the whole point — we handle the building. You handle knowing your business. We’ll guide you through the few things that need your input.
Who owns the site and the domain?
You do — always. Both live in your own accounts and your name. You’re never locked in and never dependent on us to keep your site running.
What does it cost to keep the site live each month?
Your Shopify subscription — around $39/month, or about $29/month if you pay yearly — paid directly to Shopify. New stores often get a lower intro rate for the first few months. Your domain renews separately, usually $10–$20 a year.
I already have a website or domain. Can you use it?
Yes. We connect your existing domain to your new site, and rebuild the site itself fresh on Shopify in your brand.
Can I start small and upgrade later?
Absolutely — that’s the One Percent way. Start with Get Online, and step up to Get Found or Get Booked when you’re ready. Small fixes, real progress.
How long does a build take?
It depends mostly on how fast we get your content. As a rough guide: Get Online about 1–2 weeks, Get Found about 2–4 weeks, and Get Booked is custom based on scope.
